Inspiration for the book:
Kid Narc is inspired by a real little girl who believes in Santa and doing good. The book follows Brie King as she secretly creates her own naughty list to help Santa. Her mission will lead to unexpected challenges and a story you’ll never forget!
Inspiration for the Kid Narc Challenge:
Watching the zoom calls for Kamala Harris during the election showed me the incredible power of bringing people together. It made me realize that kids, united by a common cause, could be part of a movement to help end the literacy crisis in America.
How we operate:
Although we’re not a non-profit, Kid Narc believes that when we do well, others should too. 100% of the profits from the Naughty List Virtual Event will benefit Reading Is Fundamental.

Brie king is a bold, 10-year old who’s on a secret mission to help Santa by keeping track of who’s naughty and who’s nice! She’s got a sharp eye, a strong sense of justice, and won’t back down from a challenge.
Brie’s adventure is full of surprises as she uncovers mysteries and learns that sometimes, things aren’t always as simple as they seem.
Brie has many family members who work for the FBI and CIA.
Jackson is Brie’s super-annoying 8-year old little brother. Just like a buzzing mosquito, he makes sure Brie never gets a moment’s peace. His goofy charm and high energy though will add a fun twist to Brie’s adventure.
Mr Jaxson is Brie’s 4th grade teacher. On the first day of school, Brie walks into her classroom to find that he’s written his name on the board in big, bold letters – Mr Jaxson. It might not be the same name as Brie’s annoying little brother Jackson, but it’s close enough – and a possible bad omen for what’s to come this school year.
Mason is the class bully – loud, tough, and always looking for trouble. Whether it’s on the playground or in the classroom, he knows how to make his presence known, and not in a good way.
After “The Dodgeball Incident” (which Brie definitely hasn’t forgotten), he’s earned a top spot on her naughty list. But like any mystery, there might be more to Mason than just being the biggest troublemaker in school…
