The Kid Narc Virtual Event may be a national movement, but its heart starts with one kid: Brie King.

She’s 10 years old. She’s observant, stubborn, and a little bit sneaky. And she believes in doing what’s right — even when no one’s watching.

How It All Started
Like a real event, the Kamala Harris Zoom calls inspired the creation of the Kid Narc Virtual Event — a space where voices come together to spark change.

Brie herself was inspired by a real little girl who wouldn’t stop asking questions, noticing unfairness, and wanting to fix what didn’t seem right.

She’s persistent — never giving up on the idea that she’ll find a way to get her version of the Naughty List to Santa. And of course, she believes in Santa, even though she knows a lot of her friends don’t.

But by the end of the story, you just might believe in Santa and magic too.

She’s Not Waiting for Adults to Fix Things
In Kid Narc and the Naughty List, Brie notices that some kids never seem to get caught — while others always get blamed. When she realizes Santa might not know the whole story, she secretly starts keeping her own “naughty list” to set things straight.

But the story isn’t just about Christmas. It’s about taking initiative, speaking up, and believing that even one voice can make a difference.

Brie Is a Reflection of the Kid Reading This
Brie’s not perfect. She makes mistakes. She gets carried away. But she cares — deeply. And she’s willing to take a risk to make things better.

She’s not a superhero. She’s not a princess. She’s just a regular kid who realizes something powerful:

Books give you courage. And courage changes things.

Why We Started With Brie
We launched the Kid Narc Virtual Event because we believe there are thousands of kids like Brie out there. Quietly observant. Deeply thoughtful. Ready to do something real.

Brie’s story is an invitation — not just to read, but to act. And your child can join that story.

Here’s How Your Kid Can Join Brie’s Mission

1. Grab your ticket – just $9.99 per household Brie’s story inspired a new way for kids to speak up — with a poster. On the website now, you’ll find three downloadable posters kids can customize in their own voice:

🐇 “It’s time… for kids to speak up about…”
– 🍦 “If books gave you superpowers, what would yours be?”
– 🗽 “Make a Difference – If kids ran the world…”

Kids can start creating anytime — but stay tuned. The official poster challenge kicks off next week, when we’ll begin sharing your creations across the country.

Brie Believes in Books. We Believe in Brie.
This September, we’re handing the mic to kids like Brie — kids who see what’s wrong and dream about what could be right.

And we’re asking one thing:

What would happen if 100,000 kids believed they could change the world… with a book?

Let’s find out.
